museums victoria dino dig at fed square

Working with specialist agency Anthem, Kreate were delighted to produce this exciting activation for Museums Victoria to celebrate the launch of their exclusive Triceratops Exhibition.

During the 2022 Easter school holidays Kreate worked as part of a cross-agency response with Anthem Co, to create an exhilarating and educational activation to celebrate the world-class Triceratops exhibition which was launching exclusively to Melbourne Museum.

The aim was to engage children of all ages and give them the opportunity to become a Dino archaeologist for one day only. The Dino Dig activation popped up at Fed Square for 7 days, allowing families to explore hidden triceratops fossils buried inside the sandpits. Our on site dig site welcomed almost 2,000 little participants who discovered a variation of bones, from jaw, horn, frill, to Dino eggs!

The photo moment was the final stop of the activation where kids could showcase their findings and capture the excitement.
