Together with Australian plant-based food company Vegie Delights and with the help of Olympian and '98% Vegan', Stephanie Rice, Kreate got more Australians talking about plant-based food options!
To celebrate World Vegan Month in November 2019, Australian plant-based food brand Vegie Delights engaged Kreate to implement a PR and experiential campaign to get Australians talking about and eating more plant-based alternatives.
We created the 'Join our Vegie-table' campaign, which was all about Aussies getting together, having BBQs and sharing food—no matter their dietary preferences!
The campaign included a Summer Entertaining Guide curated by Australian Olympic Gold Medalist, Entrepreneur and '98% Vegan', Stephanie Rice, as well as pop-up BBQs in Central Sydney and Melbourne to entice passersby with freshly prepared meat-free dishes using Vegie Delights to create easily at home.
Steph hosted the BBQ in Melbourne while we secured a live cross with Nine's Today show and wide coverage across publications and social media platforms.
In the 2020 financial year, the Australian plant-based meat sector grew by 46%, injecting $3 billion into the economy and securing 6,000 full-time jobs. A testament that these conversations play a part in reducing methane emissions, lessening the strain on meat production and encouraging healthier, happier Australians!
