HOW TO WRITE AN ATTENTION-GRABBING JOURNAL ARTICLE without chatgpt

Writing a journal article for content and advice for marketers

Want to produce attention-grabbing content and not use ChatGPT? Then you should read our tips right here! In the current digital landscape where content is everywhere (seriously, everywhere) it’s crucial to make sure your content stands out. Here are a few simple tips to make sure your content, journal articles or blog posts get noticed.

1. Start with an opening line that hooks readers

Whilst we love TikTok and Reels, their “blink and you’ve missed it” video format have made audiences’ attention spans short! To capture the attention of your reader in the first few seconds, add a headline and/or sub header that will hook your reader in.

2. High quality imagery

There’s nothing worse than a blurry image, so if you’re including imagery in your journal article make sure it’s high quality. A good test is to check the file size and preview your article on a few different devices to make sure your images display well before publishing.

3. Use concise language

You don’t want to scare off your reader by using language they don’t understand! This doesn’t mean that you have to dumb down what you’re saying, simply make a conscious effort to use language that is concise and easy to understand. Also keep in mind your brand’s tone of voice.

4. Write about topics that are current

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, write about topics that people actually want to read! Include content in your journal article that is current or trending, this will help to make sure what you are writing about is relevant and will resonate with your audience.
